A start-up company needed to assess the market potential for their product, determine how to position the product in the marketplace and develop a plan to launch the product successfully. The product would allow retail pharmacy chain customers to pick up their filled prescriptions at an automated kiosk.
DDN was in the process of developing an automated vending system technology for retail pharmacy chains when they contacted S2. The Company wanted to find out if there was a market for their innovative new product. Once the product development was completed, they also needed help launching the kiosk in the marketplace.
S2 was able to assess the initial market potential and determine key product features through phone surveys and in-person meetings with retail pharmacy executives. We then developed and implemented a product introduction strategy and marketing plan to launch the product. S2 created a database of over 1,000 key industry contacts and continued to provide ongoing strategic marketing support.
DDN was able to successfully develop, launch and grow the company over the course of four years, with S2 providing ongoing strategic marketing services. The company was then acquired.
